Shipping
I ship within the United States only. Dahlia tuber shipping will start in April as soon as weather permits. I do not offer earlier shipping.

Tubers will be labeled and packaged in bags with storage medium, boxed, and shipped via USPS Priority with tracking info provided to you.

My shipping & handling rate for 2026 is a flat $18. I will combine shipping when possible for the same customer name and address. Use code COMBINE2026.

Guarantees
All of my dahlias are grown here on the farm for at least one season before adding them to my inventory list. I verify that they are true to variety during the growing season and label them well to prevent mislabels. However, I am human! I will guarantee each tuber to be true to variety with at least one visible eye. Keep in mind that some tubers are strange looking and they come in all shapes and sizes. I will not ship you a broken, rotten, blind, or squishy tuber. Please open your package and inspect your tubers right away and notify me within 5 days of any issues with your order. Email divergentdahlias@gmail.com. After delivery, you will be responsible for storing, planting, and caring for them. I will not refund if they rot in ground or do not perform well. I am not responsible for negligence on your part or things beyond my control once they leave my hands, such as your storage and growing conditions and your pest and disease management. Please take care of them!

My plants and tubers are inspected by the WSDA. I cull suspicious plants and tubers during the growing season and during storage. They are actively monitored for gall and virus. It is very important to me to grow and pass on only healthy plants. I sanitize my snips between plants when cutting blooms and when dividing each clump of tubers. I use organic methods of pest control in my dahlia field and garden. Virus and disease are not always avoidable and adding new plants is always a risk. You accept this risk by purchasing my tubers.
